WITTE Automotive is a founding member of the VAST Automotive Group and has been an active strategic shareholder for 23 years. Together with its two American partners ADAC Automotive and STRATTEC, the company serves its customers around the world with innovative solutions. "Global trends in the automotive industry have led to significant shifts in the markets. Our products are increasingly in demand in Asia," says Rainer Gölz, managing director of the family-owned company, explaining the current development. "With the new distribution of ownership within VAST, we now have even better access to our customers in the Asian region."
WITTE is now the sole owner of the VAST Automotive Group including China, India and Japan, ADAC takes over VAST's unit in Brazil and STRATTEC that in South Korea. "However, we continue to cooperate with our North American partners and can thus meet the global needs of our customers where they need us," emphasizes Rainer Gölz.
New vehicle access concepts and mechatronic systems in general, which can be used to operate doors and any flaps on the vehicle, are currently in particularly high demand. Systems that have also been developed and produced for years in cooperation with the plants in China and India. "The cooperation with our colleagues in Asia has already been running very successfully for many years and we are very pleased to now be able to make it even more intensive," summarizes Rainer Gölz.
