Collaboration with Universities & Research – Investment in the Future

At WITTE, we know: The professionals of tomorrow are the learners of today.

That's why we place great importance on collaborating with schools and universities. For us, these partnerships are both an opportunity to support young talent at an early stage and a chance to inspire the next generation for technical professions and the automotive industry.

Through joint projects, internships, and events, we provide hands-on insights into the working world, enabling young people to discover and develop their potential. At the same time, we benefit from fresh ideas and new perspectives. Together, we lay the foundation for innovation, growth, and a successful future.

Our collaboration with Campus Velbert Heiligenhaus (CVH)

We have been working closely with the Velbert/Heiligenhaus Campus of Bochum University of Applied Sciences for many years. Together we promote cooperative engineering degree programmes (KIS) in the region. We offer courses in Mechatronic Systems and Applied Computer Science. These dual degree programmes have a strong practical focus and prepare students for their future careers. Many of our former KIS students now work for us as software developers, test engineers and team leaders, making a significant contribution to the success of our business.

Our collaboration with the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW)

We also collaborate with the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) and offer dual study programmes in business administration and IT in a block model. With this partnership, we are securing tomorrow's skilled workforce and specifically promoting our young talent. In this way, we combine academic theory with practical experience and strengthen our company for the long term.

Part-time study programme

Continuous learning and personal development of our employees is important to us. This is why some of our existing employees also take the opportunity to study at renowned universities such as FOM (Hochschule für Ökonomie & Management) or IU (Internationale Hochschule) in a part-time distance learning programme. In this way, we ensure that our team is always up to date with the latest knowledge and can gain further professional qualifications. This investment not only strengthens individual careers, but also our organisation as a whole.
